After Integrity Print invested in a new Hunkeler automatic finishing line, it increased its production capacity for large batches of leaflets.

The Gen8 finishing line with in-line cutting, separating and stacking modules provided by Friedheim International was installed at the end of January and operated at full capacity throughout February. According to Integrity, "no less than 50 projects have been completed."

The Midsomer Norton-based company said that this additional production line costing £300,000 provided it with a high-performance roll-to-stack system, doubling its folding leaflet production capacity.

Account Director Nathan Douglas (Nathan Douglas) said: "In the past few years, we have seen an increase in the demand for large-volume flyer printing. In the past, we were not always able to meet this demand, but now, through With this new investment, we can produce up to 10 million folded flyers per week-twice the capacity in 2020.

"The new technology provides an automated inline solution that allows us to simplify the process and increase efficiency. The new commercial production line also provides us with enhanced finishing capabilities to meet some of our customers' more complex design requirements."

The company stated that it did not consider any alternative machines or suppliers because "our existing Hunkeler production line is perfect."

The new machine follows the investment in Hunkeler's off-line roll paper CS6-2 cutting system in 2019, and also includes equipment from Canon, HP, Muller Martini, BlueCrest, Nipson, Tamarack and Goebel. It is located on the company's 65,000 square meter site .

Last year, the company took advantage of the Covid-19 disruption and completed a major renovation of its Lasermail product with a expenditure of 1.2 million pounds and a new brand.

Integrity Print has 390 employees and a turnover of 60 million pounds, providing services to financial, retail, charity, public sector, logistics, packaging, food and beverage customers, and NHS.
